Christmas is just around the corner! To celebrate the holidays, we created a special pizza perfect for your December lunches and dinners with friends and family 😉
At Christmas in Italy – especially in the Emilia Romagna region – cotechino is synonymous with celebrations and enjoying delicious meals together.
This is why we decided to make it one of the key ingredients in our new special pizza.
As is tradition, we paired the full, enveloping flavor of diced cotechino with the kick of Dijon mustard and grated radish.
We topped it all off with the sweet, slightly pungent note of grated Asiago cheese, stringy Fiordilatte mozzarella and, as a final touch, the king of winter, His Majesty cavolo nero, sauteed with olive oil and garlic for an intense, pleasantly bitter flavor.
It’s our own take on a traditional Italian Christmas dish made into an insanely delicious pizza.
